Does the Employment Act 1955 apply to all employees?

Following the Employment (Amendment) Act 2022, the Employment Act 1955 now covers all employees in Malaysia, regardless of monthly wage. Certain provisions — such as overtime entitlements — continue to apply specifically to employees earning below RM4,000 per month.
